Guides for Newbs

Step One:

– Go to demons-online.com site or forum.
– Go to the DOWNLOADS section at the top bar of the forum http://classic.demons-online.com/do.php?p=12 you can choose one of the available download site there to download your client.
– If you are not able to auto patch your client go here http://classic.demons-online.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=1 download the patches that’s needed, make sure you checked your client patches version at so that it’s easy for you to know which one to patch up.
– After your client all fixed and patched up, you can move to the next step.

Step Two:

– Demons Online Season II Doomsday Version contains TWO different server calls STANDARD Server and EXTREME server both server has the same features except in drop rates and compose rates. Explanations are as below.
a) Standard Server – Has regular drop rate and compose rate.
B) Extreme Server – Has TWICE or x2 drop rate and compose rates which means it’s higher.
– Go to the IGN Registration at the top bar of the forum http://classic.demons-online.com/do.php?p=3
– Choose which server you want to be in, Standard Server or Extreme Server.
– After you chose the server you wanted to be in , register for your in game name. Examples are as below.

**Steps for registration:
a) Account name
b) Password
c) Confirm password (put again your password to confirm)
d) Your E-mail address ( Its very important in case you forgotten your password)
e) Confirm Email (Input the same email to confirm it)
f) Human verification ( Click on ‘Yes, I’m human else you won’t be able to register properly)
g) Click on the blue button (REGISTER ACCOUNT)

Step Three:

– After you did your registration at the STEP TWO earlier, try login into your client accordingly to your wanted server using the same account name and password (NEVER LET ANYONE KNOWS YOUR ACCESS)
– Once you are able to login, you will come across a selection of classes such as mages, warrior and paladin both in female and male version.
– Here are the explanations of the three classes.

Mages:

>are the easiest and therefore strongest class, they are limited by their SP – (stamina points), which is their physical power gauge that controls their ability to jump, use Flying Chop or Chain Chop (and God forbid one runs out of SP during an intense battle). As far as PKing goes,a warrior will have the upper hand if they possess high BP and Chain Chop. Chain Chop, as mentioned before, will knock a player backwards and render an opponent unable to attack in most cases, which will be a huge benefit during a battle.

Warrior:

>are blessed with the superior skill of Thunder (which is an EXTREMELY popular PKing skill that Mage Eudemons can learn as well), however, this skill is extremely MP-(Mana Points) draining and cannot be used all the time. If a Mage Eudemon is summoned simultaneously when the spell is cast, both the player and their Eudemon will cast Thunder at the same time, which will
double the power of the attack. As far as statuses go, a Mage has low physical attack and defense, but very high Magic attack and Magic defense. This can be counteracted by converging with a Pixie, which has high Physical Defense and Magic Attack, and will increase both stats. When PKing, a Mage should avoid physical attacks and use Thunder from afar, for their low physical defense may not allow them to survive long enough to finish casting a spell if they are attacked by a warrior

Paladin:

In a time before Paladins existed, a group of dissenting mages gathered to discover a method of gaining the strength of warriors. They concluded by giving up their souls in an exchange, they could not only gain the power of physical attack, but also cast spells. Though, they did not have full specialization of either.

Examples of the three classes are in the picture below:

-Once you chose your class and character name, you will be login to Cronus with a Level One character and pet. All chosen classes will get two level one pets when you first started and 1000 Pps in your inventory.

***As for those who never played any Eudemon Version games, this is the interface you will be using for your entire EO life. Picture and description of each function are as below.

Description for Region A (From inside to outside)

– Character: Displays your current status, Weapons, Gears, Attires , Skills and also kill count.

– Inventory: It’s where you stores all your things from gold/eps/pps to attires, there are 40 available space for you to use.

– Eudemon: To summon, renaming , dismissing the pets in your bag

– Skills: It displays all your skills and affiliate stats.

– Legion/Family: You can check your legion or family you’re in here if you joined one.

– Mentor/Friends/Enemies/Business Partners: It’s where all the players that you know, made friends or business partnered with or even enemies that killed you are in.

– Trade: After clicking the icon, the cursor would be a scale, you have to click on players to trade.

– Team: Opens the team panel which allows you to find, create , join or even close the team.

– Quests: This icon would display your current quests however this feature is temporarily unavailable on this server.

– Eudemons Training: It shows you the training skill for each Eudemon or ‘Pet’ you own. Claim exp 3 times after it reaches level 70, 80 and 100.

– Options: You can set your graphics, sound preference, hotkeys, chat settings here, you can adjust it accordingly.

Description for Region B (From Inside to Outside) :

Mannequin: You can create another character which called mannequins that connected to that one account; you can create 5 mannequin characters.

– Shopping Mall: Opens the shopping mall anywhere you’re at.

– Duel: Once you click this icon, your cursor will be a sword cursor where you duel other players.

– Orb Composing: Click this and it will open an altar where you can combine certain numbers of universal to do the orb composing.

– VIP: It’s a diamond icon where all the VIP features in, from instant lottery to instant hatchery.

Descriptions for Region C:

– Send: Sends a message or chat.

– Action/faces: Emoticons that can be inserted into a chat window or perform the action in-game.

– Clear: Clears all messages on your screen

– View other: Click this button and then click on the target player you want to observe.
– Chat Log: Opens the chat logs, and allows you to save or delete messages.

– Nearby Players: Shows a list of nearby players and sends messages to players you select.

Descriptions for Region D:

– Auction : Display current items in the auctions

– Check Booth: It open up the advertised booth for you wherever you are at.

– Mentor/Apprentice Benefits: Displays your mentor/apprentice, friend relationships and details.
-Battle Power: Evaluates your character’s battle power and displays the detail of your BP number sources comes from.

Character Status:

– Peace Mode: You can only attack monsters.

– Team mode: You can attack anyone except your friends, apprentice, mentor, legion members and family.

– Capture mode: You can attack monsters, blue and black named players.

– Legion mode: You can attack anyone except your legion’s members and friends.

– PK mode: You can attack anyone in the game.

Eudemon Summoning:

First Eudemon Summon Open the Eudemons Interface (ctrl+F), click the ‘sum’ to summon your eudemons, or you can directly click the ‘sum’ below the icon of the eudemons on the top of the screen.

First Eudemon Converge You can converge with a Eudemon at level 10, 2 at level 15 and 3 by using a GodEudemonStone or completing the ‘Summon 3 Eudemons’ quest after level 50. Click ‘con’ and ‘dis’ to control the operation.

First Eudemon Evolvement When your eudemon reaches level 20, the system will give you a notice to evolve it. You can also click the button of ‘Evolve’ in the Eudemon’s interface to evolve it. You have to summon it or dismiss it if it’s converging with you.

First Eudemon Composing There are 5 ways to compose Eudemons: Main Attribute composing, Sub-Attribute composing, Initial Attribute composing, Luck Composing and ID composing. Each time you compose, your Eudemon will gain points or gifts. Eudemon Professor Aderes can help to compose your Eudemons. You can find him in 5 of market coordinates.

First Eudemon Hatch Drag an egg from your Eudemon bag into the hatchery and it will be hatched in an hour. If you are disconnected during this time, you’ll have to rehatch the egg. You can also hatch the eggs in the Eudemons warehouse in each city, which will take 12 hours. Level 50+ players can do batch hatch at the Eudemon Hatcher in the market.

First Eudemon Revivification Eudemons also will die when you are hunting or pking, to revive them simply kill some monsters. Summon the dead eudemon, it will absorb the soul balls from the monsters you killed. When its life bar is full, it can revive.

Eudemon Skill In the same manner as you readied your character skills left clicks the icon of the skills of Eudemons, put it on the skill column, click the corresponding hotkey to cast the skills.

Now that we’re done with the basic of the interface, hotkeys and icons, we will be moving to the next stage.

Stage 1 (Level 1 -35)

– Once you spawn in Cronus as a Level 1 , open up your inventory, you will find a few potions , x2 and x10 exp pot in there for u to use and 1000 Pps(paladin points)
– Path finding to mad bulls outside Cronus Ground. Use ur x2 exp pot to gain TWICE the exp of normal when u kill each mobster.
– Once you gain a few level and some Eps, you can go back to the Cronus Market , path finding to shopping mall, it will lead you to the market point where warehouse, market lottery and a few other NPCs.
– Get some gold’s in the mall for you to buy some gears in the Armorer (Carl) in Cronus and then buy Godblessings in the mall.
– Get some few eggs for you to hatch, after you think you’re ready to get into the next map while waiting for the eggs to hatch. You can teleport to Misty Marsh or Gobi Desert. Remember to use your x2 or x10 exp pot in bag or from the mall.
– As for skills you can get them from Grocery (Lane) in Cronus at 309 396 and on every map too.
– Eudemons Warehouses can be found in Cronus Market at 248 516.

Stage 2 (Level 36- 70)

– You can keep on leveling as the stage one mentioned except you can start teleport to Island once you hit level 50.
– After you hit level 50, you need to re log to have the shopping mall appeared on your screen.
– Remember once you’re out of Cronus Map, it won’t be a safe area. It will be a PK area which you can get killed anytime outside Cronus.
– If u saw a monster with Level on them, it means it’s a boss. Bosses drop different kind of items depends on which map you are in. This will be explain soon.
– After you hit Level 70, you can head back to Cronus Market. There’s a teleporter NPC on every map.
– You can head to Anderes to start composing. There’s 5 Anderes in market so you can go to one of them if it’s full.
– Pick one of the hatched Eudemon from your bag after you click on Anderes. Make sure you have universals, clovers and expballs in your bag to feed them.
– Once you get a hang of composing after a few try outs, next you can donate for nobilities such as Baron, Viscount , Count , Marquis , Duke or even King or Queen.
– By donating some gold’s to the rank, this will open up your knights table and get extra bp.
– *** DO NOT waste your eps on making gears yet until level 125, except getting it some gems such as sapphires, ambers, amethyst, and citrines to improve your character stats.
– I get this question a LOT so REMEMBER this. You need 13 red stones, bought with EPS NOT PPs. Else it won’t work to make socket on your weapons. Make sure your weapons are at full durability and it’s ON YOU NOT in the inventory. Go to the socket gem NPC at 323 496. You can find ALL of the quality to bonusing NPC near this npc just by path finding them.

Stage 3 (Level 71 – 200)

– After you get your preferred pets to 20* – 30* and your gears embedded with Sapphires Gems, you can head to Cata Maze.
– You can use the teleporter in island near the boat to teleport to Cata Maze.
– Use x10 potions; start moving around killing the mobs in there. When it’s xp mode you can random around using the skills.
– The more you kill the better exp you get.
– If you keep doing this. You will get Level 125 easy with a proper gears gems, skills and knights arrangement.
– After you hit level 125, you can go back market to upgrade your gears or even weapons. (P.S – Since weapon bonuses NPC is bugged you can get the readymade weapons on booth or from the gear and weapon boxes that drop around the maps)
– If you think you are able to continue this method in Catamaze after you hit level 125, keep going around the map with XP skills until you hit level 200.
– You can try going to Frozen Hell or Ice Maze if you have enough BP to survive which I reckon try with 700 bp to 1k bp (Try getting a mentor, they can share up to 280 bp when they are online)
– Once you feel at ease with your bp , you can join a Legion. You can get extra bp from 6 -57 depends on the position.
– If you want to train your skills or eudemons skills you can go to Training Ground trainer Sebastian in Cronus Market at 287 568.

Stage 4 (Level 201 -255):

– This is the hardest part of all. You will be needed 10k % expballs to level up. It would be VERY hard to level up manually by killing mobs.
– It would cost you around 5 m ++ eps to level up all the way to 255. So here you gotta hunt a LOT and be patience.

Legion Bp share and Totems Descriptions’:

– Leader: Only this spot can appoint the Deputies and Honors spots in the legion, enemy and allying a legion and also kicking and recruiting members. This spot can get 64 max bp.
– Deputies: This spot are able to recruit, activate a totem, kick a member out of the legion and appoint a Deputy Aide. This spot can get 57 max bp.
– Generals: This spot are able to recruit for the legion. Most of the time generals have to make sure their contributions in the legion are top notch. This spot gets 51 max bp.
– Captains: This spot divide to TWO type, Rose Captains or contributions Captains. Most of the time females with rose ranking in the legion will get Captains. This spot gets 44 max bp.
– Lieutenants/Sergeant/Senior/Junior/Common Members: These spots are the normal once; normally newbs would be holding this spot as they just started. These spot shares 32/21/18/9/6 (can’t really remember the exact bp these spot gives out lol)

** You can ONLY open or activate ONE totem PER maintenance each day.

Other Side Notes.

– There is an Online Factory In Cronus where you can train while you’re AFK (Away From Computer) and you can get PPs as well as your skills up since it’s similar to Training Ground.
– There is also events EVERY 12 Hours each day such as Dragon Machines and Seth (Cronus Defense) , this events can help the new ones get some eps, universals and expballs . So be sure to take part in this event if you want to save up some eps.
– Votings Pandas, if you see these NPC around Cronus, go to it and vote for the server. As rewards it would give you PPs, Eps Pills and 100 piece 36* unis for a certain number of votes you do. So VOTE PROPERLY.

Descriptions for Daily Events:

– Dragon machines: Each day every 12 hours at 12 am and 12 pm SERVER TIME. It last for 30 minutes. So kill as much as you can. You can randomly get drops such as attires in that map. ANY level below 255 will have to pick up the universals and expballs that drops while the ones that are already level 255 automatically gets their drops goes into their inventory without picking up. (See, being a level 255 has a lot of advantage too ) Every map has a dragon that you can kill. It drops unis, expballs and gives eps once you kills it. Takes a while to kill it.

– Seth (Cronus Defense): This happens each day TWICE too at 5am and at 5 pm. You have to kill 5 gorgons as fast as you can before times up. If you kill the big boss which is called SETH within 8 minutes you can get 25 unis, eps pills, if you kill SETH more than 8 minutes your rewards would be lowered, this requires team work from EVERYONE that joined the event. 36* unis cost a lot on market so this will benefit the new ones to get eps by selling them

Other Notes:

In Demons online there is many kind of pets, each of them have attributes (MDF PDF P-attack M-attack) and growth rate

as its named demons online there eudemon (demons or pets however you will call it) are the base of the game they give you attack def and battle power, battle power of the eudemons is calculated by the number of stars and the gifts (BP+)

The battle power is so important but it’s not everything you must put in consideration that your equipment quality and your demons attributed like HP,PD,MD,P-attack-M-attack is important too.

Determining strength: In this example Player A has reached 10-stars while Player B has reached level 100. Which of the two players is stronger? The answer lies in the players’ Battle Power. Despite the players’ equipment, level, or Eudemons, Battle Power will always take precedence.

Suggestion

As we explained the battle power and the gear and the Eudemons attributes are so important and each of this tips is missing mean your power is not so effective in the battle, what you have to do? Build Super gear quality use in your weapon 2 super Citrine, keep your equipment in good durability,(damaged equipment give no bonus), chose your pets as the following

Usual Combo for warrior

a) high compose rate plus high p-def and m-def. example Warrior lulu
b) warrior pet with high p-attack. example Warrior Lanir
c) mage pet with high def ( as warrior you will summon 1 mage pet so the pet will not be sharing any additional def. so he must have its’ own def to survive in the battle. and be able to serve you more with mage attacks to help killing your enemy easily (dead pet give less 2 battle power)

Usual combo for mage

The best way for mage to be strong and to use all Its’ ability is to summon 3 mage pets (no converge) since the mage have the ability to control perfectly mage pets, using 3 pets summoned for mage will give you x4 defense and x4 attack

Usual combo for paladin

So simple to be a strong paladin compose 3 pixie

a) 2 Pixie converged plus 1 summoned
b) 3 converged
d) 3 summoned

*All info are the same with Walid[PM] & SoulNecturn[PM] this is a newer version of Newbie’s guides. Since the old one is rather old and some of the NPCs’ and feature has changed a bit since then. The leveling guides is from my experience on leveling characters and players, it all depends on how you use the guide ,Will be updating this thread in a few days. Guides on how to compose this and that. This is just a brief explanation on the basics.
