I hooked up the Neutral Safety Switch (NSS) directly to my E-brake The remote starter has a manual transmission mode, but it is a PITA toSome of the viper models offer a manual transmission mode that requires sensor/switch so the car knows when the transmission is in neutral. my remote start, I just hooked in to the output from the neutral position sensor.
