The Nikon 35mm f/2.5 Series-E is not a pro-grade lens. Let me just put that out there. Let me also mention that if you can snag a copy in good working and optical order for about $50, the performance-per-dollar ratio (an arbitrary figure, but important nonetheless for the budget-savvy out there) is great.
